What's to Come for the 2018 Nissan Leaf

Exciting things are on the horizon for the 2018 Nissan Leaf. Nissan has teased us over the last few months, but there are some things we know for certain to expect when the 2018 Leaf is revealed. Nissan has decided to change the shape of the Leaf to make it more aerodynamic. The company claims the new shape was inspired by the profile of an airplane wing. The new silhouette decreases drag due to its more symmetrical flow.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf will also stand in a class of its own when it introduces the e-Pedal one-foot driving technology that allows driver to slow down, speed up, and brake with just one pedal. In addition, Nissan has also confirmed the Leaf will offer ProPilot semi-autonomous capabilities. Powertrain specs have yet to be released but rumor has it that there will be a larger lithium-ion battery and it could offer up to a 60 kWh pack.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf will be revealed in September.
